Recycled glass tiles

These tiles are a selection of the products from Sandhill Industries, a US company now based in Boise, Idaho. This part of the spiel on their website caught my eye:

“Not only are our products made from 100% recycled glass,
which is otherwise destined for landfills, each tile takes less than one-half of the energy
to produce than ceramic tile, and less than one-fourth of the energy it takes to produce a
cast-glass tile.”
