  1. i really don’t see what is so special about this artist’s artworks. my 2 year old daughter could make artwork better than that- but this artist isn’t the only one who makes dumb artworks.

  2. Personally I think that the person who posted that last comment needs real help in seeing what artwork can really be. That is what is wrong with American people. We all have such a set standard in our minds of what artwork should be, but really it can be anything. And plus, at the age of 88, that artwork is amazing. And I’m sure that your two year old daughter could draw something better than a man with many years of experience.

  3. One of many of the great outdoor sculptures Chicago gets to brag about…possibly you and your two year old daughter could get a hands on education in appreciation seeing it first hand…I don’t take it for granted but appreciate it every time I get to pass by it. If your city aint like my city..it ain’t happenin’..Learn to appreciate not crtize art you’re not familar with….but everyone has an opinion.

  4. wow. it is an ignorant thing to say for that top comment, but yes, everyone has an opinion, but should be backed up by knowledge, and a 2 year old may be able to draw and paint like that but people miss the point of the thought process that went through the artist beforehand to create the image. Also, i’m sure a 2 year old does not have the same mental capacity as did Miro, unless she is a genius!
