This mosaic has me intrigued. From a distance it looks more like a line drawing. I’m trying to to work out what a violinist, a Hermes like figure on the left, the girl, the key, the cartoonish type somewhat alien figures on the right and fire all have in common.

This mosaic tile floor was laid by Italian craftsmen in the late 1800s. It can be found in the Turkish Baths in Harrogate in the UK.
