Another cool project from the people at Mosaic MAdness. This one looks like fun. I like the idea of using mirror. This one also uses primer and a two-part adhesive on the brick.

Rome – San Clemente Church, originally uploaded by Galaxy’s humans.
San Clemente Church in Rome. Beautiful column.
Mostly Mosaic is a Queensland based mosaic business run by Annie Bonney. She has lots of precut stained glass tiles available on her site. I like the look of the gold mirror tiles and the iridised tiles amongst her stock. Lots of glass gems and nuggets too.
Haven’t yet tried buying anything from Annie but if you have, let me know what your experience was. Looks good looking at the eBay feedback though.
Trencadis is a Catalan word (the language of Catalonia, in northeastern Spain) for a type of mosaic in which shards from waste tiles are used to clad buildings, a practice comparable to pique assiette (also called picassiette). [Art lex.com]
